Who we are
Established in 2011 in the ‘Dutch Silicon Valley’ in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, Profigent brings 10+ years of experience in providing professional services and creating intelligent solutions that that help our clients saving costs, improve their way of working and let them focus on their core business.
We are experienced in investigating, advising and creating complete software solutions or maintaining and troubleshooting legacy software ranging from graphical user interfaces (GUI) to control and embedded software.
What we do
We are active in three main areas: research, development and consultancy.
Research
We are performing continuous research for applications of established and new technologies and methodologies, and management processes to provide best value for the money. Our research branch “Profigent Labs” is dedicated to fundamental research including applied mathematics and statistics. In cooperation with experienced educators from TU/e we provide on-demand courses and trainings to increase professional skills levels in various areas of applications.
Development
We are developing solutions that allow our clients solving their problems in the cost effective and timely manner. We are involved in the complete development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to design, development, deployment and further maintenance of the provided solutions.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
We help maintaining legacy software believing that software maintenance is as important as working on new functionality. We bring new insights in the existing code base, refactor original designs to fit the new functionality and improve readability, consistency and testability.
We help troubleshooting difficult problems by analyzing, debugging, documenting root cause, fixing the problem and advising on improvements.
Consultancy
We consult our clients on choosing suitable solutions, picking the right technology or a process to minimize the cost of bringing a product to the market. We rely on our experience to provide the best advice for each project or product.
